Moreover, the base receives integral stress-relief aging processing to thoroughly release inherent internal residual stress. Adopting an overhanging framework fitted with parallel vertical guideways, the machined base forms a unified datum plane. This structural configuration secures superior cutting linearity in practical machining; by contrast, conventional hybrid base-and-overhang layouts contain dual datum planes and cannot match such precision stability.


2. Workpiece clamping on the workbench relies on electromagnetic magnetic chucks for straightforward operational handling and abundant mounting allowance. Every individual chuck features dimensional specifications of 220mm × 400mm (width × length), and six units are longitudinally spaced on the bench to shorten the effective magnetic pull span of the work surface.

Fine positioning relies on manual trimming to secure operational safety and precision during cutter setting procedures. The carriage-mounted worm shaft permits angular deflection relative to the horizontal datum, facilitating end-face and chamfer machining for top surfaces within 0°–85° and bottom surfaces ranging from 0° to −45°. Continuously variable milling feed rates are available to accommodate arbitrary cutting speeds and rapid retraction, complemented with a reversible reciprocating cutting capability.

 

6. The powered travelling bogie is engineered as a customized oversized standalone module.
